AUSTIN – Workforce Solutions Capital Area will host two curbside pickup events for child care providers in the Austin metro area to receive PPE and cleaning supplies at no cost on April 23 and 24, 2021 at the First Workers Day Labor Center in Austin.

Child care providers in Travis County who contract with Workforce Solutions Capital Area to serve childcare subsidy families can sign up to receive bath tissue, hand soap and sanitizer, gloves, disinfectant wipes, and more. Providers can also receive masks donated by Bank of America.

Providers can pick up supplies from 9 am to 4 pm on April 23 and from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm on April 24 by reserving a time on Eventbrite. First Workers Day Labor Center is at 4916 North IH 35.

Workforce Solutions Capital Area has contracts with 385 providers to provide care for 3,000 children in Travis County.
