Position Summary: Performs complex technical and professional work in the area of child care program quality. Line supervision by the Director, Child Care Contracts with reporting responsibility to the COO.

Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree and major coursework in child development or a related field. Two years related work experience. Prefer experience in child development and the federal child care subsidy program. Related experience and education may be substituted for one another.

Data and Career Awareness Project Coordinator

Position Summary: Workforce Solutions Capital Area is searching for a Data and Career Awareness Project Coordinator who will work with the Director of Research and Career Awareness to analyze labor market information (LMI) and translate data into engaging, digestible reports that are valuable to elected officials, higher education institutions, workforce and economic development planners, business industry groups, economic development planners, business industry groups, and the general public. This position will contribute to raising awareness of in-demand career opportunities that align with Strategy 1 of the Master Community Workforce Plan, which leads to enrollment in postsecondary training primarily in healthcare, information technology, skilled trades and advanced manufacturing.

Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in a relevant field is generally preferred. Experience and education may be substituted for one another. Background in data analysis strongly preferred. Knowledge of Texas Workforce Commission labor market tools preferred. Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tool preferred. Digital publication and graphic design skills preferred. Video production skills preferred. Experience in facilitating meetings and giving presentations preferred..
