Friends of the East Austin community,

I’m excited to invite you to Fed Today, Work Tomorrow on December 8 from 11am-1pm at Workforce Solutions Capital Area – East. This community engagement session is hosted by Workforce Solutions Capital Area and Central Texas Food Bank. Families and children are welcome!

This event in Austin’s east side will offer participants:

• A free meal for the first 100 participants
• A resource fair to connect to jobs & training, plus supportive services for utilities, child care, & more
• SNAP application assistance

This event is part of a series of community engagement sessions throughout Austin to raise awareness for the opportunities Workforce Solutions Capital Area has available to the community for no-cost career training and upskilling. We’ll provide a direct opportunity for residents of East Austin and beyond to learn about how they can grow their skills and increase their income through Workforce Solutions.
