Austin Opportunity Youth Collaborative (AOYC)

The Austin Opportunity Youth Collaborative is a consortium of Travis County/Austin-area community groups, who together represent a long history of providing coordinated services to youth. In July 2013, the collaborative was awarded a $100,000 Opportunity Youth Incentive Fund grant by the Aspen Institute for the further development of the collaborative with a focus on Opportunity Youth.

Additional funding is provided generously by the Sooch Foundation.

"These youth represent enormous potential for our nation’s economy. Investing in these young people will also have a ripple effect on future generations of low income children and families. The successful reconnection of these young people requires community collaborations that effectively remove barriers, connect the many systems that touch their lives, and build and deepen education and employment pathways.” – The Aspen Institute Forum for Community Solutions"
