Business Relations Coordinator

Position Summary: Responsible for Board-led projects and special initiatives designed to meet the talent acquisition and development needs of local employers. Business Support Coordinator

Position Summary: Administers, oversees and manages the Rapid Response and Trade Adjustment Assistance programs in Travis County. Responsible for leading the development and implementation of a local strategy for early identification, assistance and coordination for services to address mass layoff or closing events in the Austin/Travis County area. The Business Support Coordinator will also be charged with proactively outreaching to business and industry through various sources to develop awareness of Rapid Response Services and identifying appropriate community partners for the development of early warning networks to identify declining industry and business clusters and target layoff aversion activities. Ensures the consistent and timely implementation of actions necessary to serve workers affected by layoffs, including active participation in on-site meetings and the punctual development and submission of Rapid Response projects to the Texas Workforce Commission.Reports to the Labor Market Analyst & Awareness Director.
